We went out for the second year in a row despite a dreary forecast, and we still had a hoot!  The rain wasn't too bad; we'd rigged a temporary tarp cover, just in case.   We started earlier and reached 35 vessels this year. The New York Times ran a story in the Metro Section, A Sailor's Lot: Forgotten By All but a Ship of Elves.  Thanks to Bucky McAllister for writing a personal check to cover the cost this year!  2005 Crew:  Carolina Salguero (Nemodeer), John Gladsky (at the helm), Erica Reynolds, Patti Kelly, Jamie Keenan. 2004's bow-elf Richard Brandt was sick, so he stayed ashore in the kitchen and had a hot turkey and all the trimmings waiting for the damp crew.  The battery in the digital camera died, so we don't have a lot of photos from this one.
