  Community Sailing

This is a term for affordable sailingan alternative to privately owning a boat or joining a yacht club.  PortSide NewYork proposes to start such a program in Red Hook’s Valentino Park. We have received the donation of a Morgan 24 sailboat (at right). We are researching program design and surveying the community to hear who's interested and what kind of programs are of interest. Then, we'll prepare a final proposal and ask the Parks Department for permission to run this program in Valentino Park.  We expect to finish outreach in early July.  Please fill out the survey below!
