Come honor the Turtle! An American invention, the first submarine used in war, used in 1776 in New York harbor during the American revolution.

 Sound familiar? Red Hook artist Duke Riley also honored the Turtle by recreating it in 2007 and floating it toward the Queen Mary 2.

 The Sons of the American Revolution, Battle Of Brooklyn Chapter for the 250th Commemoration will lead a Wreath Laying Ceremony to honor The Turtle operation of the American Revolution.
