NYC Waterfront Government: The Department of Parks & Recreation runs several waterfront facilities. Many new waterfront parks are not operated by the Parks
Department: The City has 2 dockmasters, vestiges of the once large department Ports & Trade. The Dockmasters are within the Department of Small Business Services.
